Just Ducky Rubber Duck Race on Shem Creek benefitting MUSC Hollings Cancer Center

Spring has sprung! That means celebrating some of the best women we know — our moms. With Mother's Day just around the corner, another way to celebrate is by taking part in our annual Just Ducky Race. The ducks are only $20 and 100% of the proceeds go towards women's cancer research at Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. It's the perfect gift for the mom in your family and lots of fun!

Mother’s Day — May 9, 2021
11:00 a.m. through 2:15 p.m. — "Duckerating" at Red's Ice House and Tavern & Table
2:15 p.m. — Deadline to turn in ducks to judges table and "duckerating" winner announced
2:30 p.m. — Race starts

Duck Race Entry Fee and Prizes

$20 per duck
Duck race drop at 2:30 p.m.
Prize for the winning duck is a $250 Red's gift card and a $300 Tavern & Table gift card.

Ducks can be purchased online by Friday, May 7. Ducks may be purchased day-of at the restaurants. You do not have to be present to win.

Duckerating Contest

$5 for a "duckerating" kit
$100 prize for best design ($50 to Red's Ice House and $50 to Tavern & Table)
Duck must be turned into judges table by 2:15 p.m. and winner will be announced at 2:15 p.m.
