The 33 Campaign
Every
day, an average of 33 individuals in America are diagnosed with sarcoma cancer.
This statistic was discovered after Travis Branch was diagnosed and began his
fight. Unfortunately, Travis lost his battle against sarcoma at the
age of 33.
As
friends and family joined together to raise funds for sarcoma research, the 33
Campaign was established as an easy way for participants to give back
during Swing for a Cure. The 33 Campaign was created to honor those who lost
their battle to sarcoma or are continuing to fight it.
Help make a difference in the search for answers- a
gift that will last beyond our fun kick-off party and golf tournament. You may make a recurring donation of $33/month, and honor those still working to beat sarcoma and
celebrate the memory of those who waged a courageous fight. There's no easier
way to contribute than through these automatic monthly contributions, used to
provide start-up funding for researchers at Hollings Cancer Center. Funding
like this is essential, as it allows researchers to establish their work, later
leading to larger grants and support for clinical trials.
To make a recurring gift, please visit https://connect2.musc.edu/cancer and select "Sarcoma Research" from the dropdown menu.
If you
are unable to make a recurring gift at this time, we hope you will consider
making a one-time gift of $33 below, or at our kick-off party in June.
Honor
those who bravely fought sarcoma, those who continue to fight, and those hard
at work searching for answers that will one day change the story of sarcoma.
