About Harper Drolet and the Foundation

Harper Elizabeth Drolet, in October of 2009, at the young age of nine was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a very rare form of pediatric soft tissue cell cancer. Harper received two years of aggressive treatments battling the disease. She endured numerous surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatments and many extended stays in the hospital. Harper lost her battle at the age of 11 on September 30, 2011. Her legacy lives on through the Hugs for Harper Endowment.

The Hugs for Harper Endowment is a foundation established in memory of Harper Elizabeth Drolet. The purpose for the Endowment is to raise money and provide grants to a local medical research center inspiring to find a cure for soft tissue cell cancer. The Endowment will also provide grants to other local organizations or charities Harper supported. The Endowments specific purpose is to provide funds to pay for a full time research scientist annually.

Harper's mantra was "Courage, Strength and Hope". She was inspirational to many and she gave her heart to everyone. It was her hope to live; it is our Hope to find a cure.

Thank you for supporting the Hugs for Harper Endowment and keeping Harper’s legacy alive!
