MUSC Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs

MUSC’s Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs is one of the nation’s premier centers for the study and treatment of alcohol and substance use, is ranked by US News and World Report in the top ten for addiction graduate programs in the nation, and contains one of only 15 nationally designated alcohol research centers funded by NIH. The center’s mission is to understand, prevent and treat drug addiction through innovations and excellence in research, treatment and education.

The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, was chartered in 1966 to support cutting-edge research, compassionate patient care and world-class education at MUSC.
